Meet Kevyncia

Kevyncia Aaliyah Zalique Housen is a multidisciplinary artist that specializes in illustration, design, and video editing. She currently attends Rutgers University, where she is pursuing a BFA in Graphic Design with minors in Art History and Video Production. Kevyncia takes pride in being a multifaceted creator, known for her versatility in both style and subject matter. In her work she explores themes of cultural, racial and gender identity as she is an Afro-Caribbean women born and raised in Antigua and Barbuda. She often draws inspiration from her experiences as a first-generation immigrant born in a family of first-generation immigrants.
